Nestled in the picturesque village called Walkington in the East Riding of Yorkshire, England.  The Barn House is close to the Market Town of Beverley, just eight miles from Hull, and 10 miles from the M62. Walkington village has post office and general store, village hall and three pubs - The Barrel, The Ferguson-Fawsitt Arms and The Dog and Duck.  The Barrel is a good drinking pub with a large screen TV showing live sporting events.  The Ferguson-Fawsitt Arms offers bar food and a self-service carvery.  The Dog and Duck has a typical pub food menu.  For those who enjoy the more stylish cuisine and venue, The Westwood Restaurant Bar and Grill in Beverley is a short taxi ride away!

There are many local attractions for you to enjoy during you stay with us – have a look around The Beverley Minster, spend a day at The Beverley Races or a take an enchanted walk on our local common ground, known fondly to us as ‘The Westwood’.  Whatever your interest, our 5 star guest luxury house makes a perfect base.
