The beauty of The Barn House and Pigeon loft is also in the fact that all our different wedding packages offer EXCLUSIVE USE! The whole venue is just for you and your guests to enjoy your special day.

We have three exclusive use packages for you to choose from:-

The Barn House Traditional Wedding package where you can choose from a range of food and drinks packages to suit your own particular style and taste.

Authentic English Country Wedding at The Barn House Walkington. A wedding designed just with Bride and Groom in mind, in the perfect location, fully exclusive in every way, practically all you have to do is choose the date and time - limited to 10 per year.

The Marquee Wedding package - the opportunity to put a marquee in the fantastic gardens of the Barn House - limited to only 3 per year. Whether you are looking for that special place to have your ceremony, somewhere to hold your reception, somewhere to have something a little different or somewhere to place your marquee The Barn House offers it all and more...

Our unique 5 star venue, beautiful gardens and home cooked food are the perfect choice for enjoying a special day with family and friends. The Barn House is luxurious, yet comfortable and homely, you'll have no excuse but to relax and enjoy yourselves.

Wedding License

We hold a wedding license which means you can also hold your ceremony here at The Barn House. You may take your vows in any one of five rooms: The Barn House Lounge, Dining Room or Breakfast Room, or alternatively, The Pigeon Loft Dining Room and Lounge. The cost to hold your civil marriage ceremony or partnership unions at The Barn House is £150.

Exclusive Use

Your wedding arrangements do not need to be complex, stressful or anything less than top priority. We pride ourselves on our service and attention to detail and therefore only offer exclusive use of our venue for your special day. We have a simple range of packages; food menus and drinks options to make you're planning and budgeting as easy as we can.

Whether you are planning a small intimate seated meal for up to 42 guests, or a larger buffet party for up to 75 guests, we are able to help you make your wedding unique and personal. Once you've had a glance through our website, we recommend that you make an appointment to come and see us. We will show you round, discuss the packages personally and answer any questions or queries you may have.

Wedding Packages

The wedding packages and prices you see are for 2012. The prices we have provided here for food and drinks are our best estimates, they may be
subject to further prices changes depending on cost increases or decreases, VAT and possible interest rate rises. We will aim to maintain the best value we can at all times. In addition please note that we offer special rates for midweek weddings, see below for further details. If you are looking to have your wedding in 2011 there are still some dates available please just give us a call to discuss wedding prices for this year.

We have a very personal and friendly style here and therefore we believe that exclusive-use of our venue is the best way of providing that special
touch and optimum service. Every package includes sole use of The Barn House, The Pigeon loft and grounds.
Please remember wedding dates are limited for a Friday, Saturday and Sunday so it advisable to book early.

Our exclusive use wedding packages all include:
* Use of our wedding co-ordinator
* Linen and menus
* Flower arrangements on all tables. Additional arrangements, flower upgrades, bouquets and button holes can be arranged through our florist at
additional cost.
* Tea and coffee on arrival for guests staying from the wedding party
* Use of all our 7 rooms in both The Barn House and The Pigeon loft for at least one night
* Use of The Barn House grounds for photography
* A complimentary bottle champagne for the wedding couple
* Early check-in for bride or groom if required.

Wedding Packages

The Barn House Traditional Wedding Package

This package is very simple and straight forward, you simply start with the Exclusive package for one night at £2950 and add the additional food and drinks packages of your choice.

Wedding Food

Canapes 3 for £6.50 or 7 for £11.50
Wedding Breakfast
Seated meal £39.50 per head for a three course meal with tea and coffee.
Buffet £29.50 per head for a two course meal plus tea and coffee.
Extra's
Cheese and biscuits £7.00 per head.

Evening reception

Hot sandwiches £12.00 per head
Finger buffet £17.50 per head

Wedding Drinks

Drink packages will be charged per adult guest.
Option 1 - £15.50
* A glass of Niki's Barn House Punch on arrival
* Two glasses of white/red wine during your meal
* A glass of Cava for the wedding speeches
Option 2 - £17.50
* A glass of Buck's fizz on arrival
* Two glasses of white/red wine during your meal
* A glass of Champagne for the wedding speeches
Additional drinks:
In addition to the drinks packages, you can choose to have a bar paid for byguests or a tab for settlement by wedding party.
* Water is included free of charge.
* Orange juice will be charged at £8 per jug.

As we are licensed premises we request that no alcohol, other than that purchased here, should be consumed on the premises. Corkage can be
negotiated by prior arrangement only.

Authentic English Country Wedding at The Barn House Walkington

A wedding designed just with Bride and Groom in mind, in the perfect location, fully exclusive in every way. A DREAM come true!
Every detail has been considered all YOU have to do is DECIDE A DATE AND BOOK it.
One day goes by so quickly so we have designed a unique package that will allow you and your closest to get ready in style and at your leisure by
starting the day before. Simply start with the Exclusive package for £3,950 which includes the Pigeon Loft night before the wedding and the whole venue on the day of the wedding, plus lots of luxurious extras.

The Day Before

This package includes exclusive use of The Pigeon loft, arrive around 2pm and enjoy a great cup of coffee or tea in the Barn House café. Then retreat to Pigeon loft and settle into the three rooms there including The Eagles Nest, Water's Edge and Songbirds. In addition this beautifully converted Pigeon loft has a lounge, dining area so there is plenty of space to celebrate and get ready in style and comfort.

In addition the package includes;-
* 12 beauty treatments or therapies; including full body massage, Indian head massage, luxury facial, deluxe manicure, deluxe pedicure or
reflexology
* 2 Bottles of house champagne
* Light buffet for 6 people
A great way to prepare for your special day with friends or loved ones.

The Wedding Day

With being a smaller venue we are able to offer flexibility in terms of how you want to structure your day so if you wish to change the order of the day to suit you it's not a problem to us. It's important you have the day that you want.
As a guide: -
Wedding Food and Drink will be £119 per person.
The day commences with breakfast delivered directly to you at whatever time you would like it. It's no ordinary breakfast though it includes: -
* 3 half bottles of champagne, strawberries and fresh fruit juice .
* Croissants and pain de chocolat.
* Hot butties (bacon, sausage or egg) - A full English served in the breakfast room can be ordered if preferred.
* Full housemaid service.... we know what a rush it is preparing for a wedding; we will ensure it is clean and tidy by your return.
* Ceremony - whether at The Barn House or elsewhere we will make sure everything is ready for your big moment.
After the marriage Celebrate your marriage with a very well known English tradition, but it's The Barn House so it has to be with a difference!
"SPARKLING CREAM TEA"
Enjoy homemade scones and cake with a nice cool glass of iced cuvee (an amazing sparkling dessert wine) or Prosseco . The perfect way to get off to
a sweet start! An iPod docking station will be available in the garden (subject to the English weather) if you wish to bring a selection of your own music.
The additional gardens and fountain will also be available for you to enable you to take a range of interesting, family and romantic photographs in an idyllic setting.

Ready to dine....
With a very traditional bang of our gong dinner will be served. Choose a starter, main course and a choice of two desserts from our menu selection
which can be found in our wedding guide. The difference with this package though is that the wine will be selected by a professional sommelier to go with the food you have chosen. A selection is provided and a wine tasting will take place beforehand so you can choose the wine of your preference both red and white.

This package includes a bottle of wine per person.

Tea, coffee and mints will be served at a time of your choice.
Time for the toast...Again we have something very unique in store for you, an English sparkling wine, full of the flavours of the true British
countryside.

The Bar...

The bar will be open from after the ceremony until 12pm for any additional drinks you or your guests may wish to purchase Supper...For a hearty supper we offer a soft bap filled with bacon and brown or tomato sauce, or fantastic pork sausage with caramelized red onions, or roast beef and gravy with horseradish.
To end the evening...A glass of port, brandy or whisky
Entertainment...We leave the entertainment to you; please ask if you would like any suggestions or contact information.
The day after the night before...
A FULL ENGLISH BREAKFAST FOR YOU AND YOUR FRIENDS AND FAMILY.

The Marquee Package

We are also able to have a marquee in the grounds of the Barn House, however, we are in a residential area so we limit this option to just 3
marquee weddings per year.
The Marquee package is equally simple...
* Exclusive use of The Barn House and Pigeon loft £2,950
* Standing charge to host a marquee in our beautiful gardens £10 per head
* Drinks - The Barn House will provide all the drinks for the wedding.
* The cost of the Marquee, additional toilets and a generator are the choice and responsibility of the couple having the wedding.
We also recommend that you use an outside caterer experienced in catering for functions of a larger scale, we can highly recommend some local outside caterers if necessary.

All Inclusive Mid-week Wedding Package

If you would like to get married in our venue but budget is a concern to you why not consider getting married though the week.

We have special all inclusive deals available at great rates Monday to Thursday at exceptionally good value If you would like to get married on a Friday we can also offer you special discounts on the prices above especially if you take continental breakfast and check out by 10am.
