Booking your wedding

Making a provisional booking

Once you have chosen The Barn House as your venue for your wedding, please call us to check availability. We will then put a provisional booking in the diary and agree an appointment for you to come and discuss the details of your event.

Confirming your booking

Once you have confirmed all your other arrangements for example, registrar or church etc, please contact us so that we can confirm your booking.  We will then calculate the approximate cost of your event. 25% of the total is then required as a deposit which is non-refundable.  If you are booking more than six months in advance, prices may be subject to change.

Wedding Arrangements

You are welcome to contact us at any time to discuss your wedding. We ask that you contact us  no later than three months before your wedding date to book an appointment to run through the details of your day. During this time, we can discuss menus, flowers and table decorations, approximate numbers and your programme for the day.

Final details and payment

Please contact us at least 28 days prior to your event to let us know final numbers, we will then be able to confirm the final costings with you. Please note any extras on the day must be settled before departure.

If you have to cancel

In the unfortunate event of having to cancel, please call us as soon as possible to let us know.

Cancellation Policy

If a confirmed booking is cancelled or amended a charge will be made for lost revenue. This charge is based on a sliding scale as follows:

14 days or more  25%
5 to 13 days          50%
0 to 4 days            100%

Specific circumstances, reselling the room or rebooking the event at a later date will be taken into account when applying charges.
